Dr. Hannah Weinstangel, BA(hons), MD, FRCPC
Pediatrician, Founder and Director of Present Medical + Wellness
Dr. Hannah Weinstangel completed her medical doctorate at the University of Ottawa. She studied pediatrics at the University of Alberta and completed her specialization at McMaster University. Prior to studying medicine, she studied psychology and humanistic studies at McGill University. She is a lecturer at the University of Toronto and values teaching students in both academic and clinical settings.
Dr. Weinstangel has experience in a wide range of clinical settings, including hospital and community. Her clinical and research interests include general pediatrics, chronic complex care, mental health, behaviour, development, chronic pain, palliative care, and the social determinants of health. She is passionate about collaborating with children and youth, families, colleagues, institutions, and communities to promote progression from illness to wellness. Dr. Weinstangel is also a practitioner, student, and teacher of mindfulness with expertise in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
Outside of work, Dr. Weinstangel loves being a mom and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, music, theatre, art, design, pop culture, fitness, nature, traveling, and hanging out with her dog.
